Very dirty…

After I bought my Honda C90, I thought my biking life was over, how am I gonna buy a bigger bike with my kindergarten-kids’-pocket-money kind of salary??

One of the day in April 2005, I rode my “Greatest Ever Motorcycle” with my friends to Titikong (of cause, 99.9% of them were riding big bikes), as we came to our 3rd stop before our delicious breakfast pit (anything will be nice for someone who woke up 6:30am, hungry, after 2hours of riding…), 1 of my friend came late with his Singapre plate Yamaha XT600, so we swapped our bikes and rode to our restaurant, this is the 1st time I ride something this tall!!

I really like this kind of bike, dirt/DP/supermoto, cause they are tall and suits me, it’s really one of my happiest day… In the picture above, the one on right was me, hehe…waiting for parking.

After the ride, I went out with my friends, and told one of my friend that i rode a DP, then my friend said: “oh… my friend is selling his scramble…very old bike but he spend a lot to modify it…he can’t rode the bike any more cause his wife is nagging him after their baby was gave birth, said he spend too much on the bike…the fork is upside down 1…(WHAT?! USD FORK?!?!?!)…his wife nagged him for 2 years but he still don’t want to sell it off, said will only sell to friends…he is selling for cheap price, I think if I sell as parts also can earn more, but he don’t want, cause he likes the bike so much”  well…it’s a old early ’80s Yamaha DT125, but with that kind of price, i do like to buy and have some funs in the palm estate near my house, but…

I WANT~!!!! I WANT~!!!! I WANT~!!!! I WANT~!!!! I WANT~!!!! I WANT~!!!!

After weeks, finally I have a chance to check out the bike, it was Labour’s Day or Sunday if I’m not mistaken; when to his workshop with my friend, when the moment he pushed the bike out, my mouth was dropped…

Hmm… early 80’s Yamaha DT125?? early 80’s Yamaha DT125?? hmmm…weird… this…doesn’t looks like it at all… OMG!!!! OMG!!!! the guy really heavily modified it, Showa USD fork, mono shock, front and rear disc breaks, KTM panels and seat, swing arm, exhaust, rims, tyres and etc…only the engine and the frame is original, but even the frame was cut, add some steel tubes and welded it back…no plate, no light, no signals, no key…pure offroad. The owner said a Malay came a day before and willing to offer RM3,000 to buy it, but he said he promised someone else…there’s really is a God. 😀 I want it, badly…I really want it, after a short ride near by, i told him i want to buy it, the owner said he will send the bike to me after he arrange transport.

After I got the bike, I did had some great time of riding it, there’s a palm estate, some construction sites, empty land near my house, how can I not riding it to the fullest?! Dust? it’s normal… pot holes? what’s that?!?! mud?, i want more… slide?? MORE!! MORE!!! Ahahaha…really having lots of fun with it. But most of the time I was riding alone, but only twice i rode with friends who rode Serow n KLR.

I know it’s danger to ride alone out there,  if anything happen, there’s no one gonna help me; I tried to be careful each time i went out, but still things happened… On one evening, I was riding in a empty construction site near my house, alone, I saw a place that I never been, a small square empty land, so i decided to turn in and have a look, but when the time i decided to turn back, it was too late, I rode into a deep mud, my bike started to sink, it sunk until wheel hub, almost touched the bottom part of the frame, and for me, i was sunk till my knee… the nearest hard land was 10feet away from me, I had no choice but left the bike and walked home; before my help came, it even rain heavily, not even a 4×4 can go in and pull it out; Again, i have to leave it there overnight, and ask for helps from some workers near by.

The bike doesn’t sound good after that, noisier, condition is getting worse, plus some wear and tear that a jobless guy can’t afford, so I start the bike less and less, until now it can’t start at all. It’s been abandon for months, still waiting for the day to resurrect it…I’m so sorry for it, cause I can’t do it at this moment, and felt so bad…

Congratulations to Valentino Rossi for his 8th world title!!

only vale… 😀

I own “Greatest Ever Motorcycles”

Its not i’m the 1 who said it… watch this:

Bought this babe in march 2005 after selling off my troublesome Yamaha TZM, was planning to use it just for work, “hoping” to upgrade “soon”, In fact, until now I’m sill not yet upgraded…

But it is a very reliable, fuel saving bike if you don’t mind riding at the speed of 6~70kmh; I used to ride it to work, 1 full tank of 3L can last me a week, 5 working days *  near 40km/day = near 200km per tank, nice eh… not much trouble, normal wear and tear, but of cause, it does has some problems, it’s a 25yrs old bike anyway…

It is a very small bike for a 6’2, but still i can sit on it comfortable, nice cushion, no butt pain problem; took out the basket so my leg can tag in.

The “handling” is….”fun”; front too stiff, rear too soft, very bouncy; once my friend followed behind and said “You bounce so much just like a jet ski…”; when it hit a small pot hole during corner, it’s time to slide, haha…supermoto style…

Did some “not-so-long distance” ride before, Subang N/V – Cheras – Titikong -Jelebu, total around 200km in half day, no problem, slide a lot due to pot holes; uphill is killing me, with the speed of 30kmh, not just fugging slow, and also the gear is hard to choose, 2nd?? too high…3rd?? too low…crap… down hill, how fast can you go, haha…

Just top overhaul for few months, changed to sport rims due to punctures too many times; Some lame fugger stole my front right parking light panel, bless him…

Still sounds good 😀

Found this video in youtube, kinda fun, hope can do that sometimes…. 😛

What “IF”…

Was talking with my Malay friend that what “IF” i, as a Malaysian Chinese won a podium in MotoGP…

“Congratulation to Panda who won Malaysian GP; now, with your own language…”

(Oh my God….I’m a Chinese, I should speak in Mandarin…but as a Malaysian, i should speak in Bahasa Malayu… But with my can-only-go-buy-a-burger Cina Pek kind of Bahasa Malayu, will them understand???)

“Ia… Gua amat happy sebab gua dah menang dalam pusingan ini…er…sebagai rayak Malaysia, gua…gua… manyak happy lah, boleh menang dalam negara sendiri…dan er…bila starting ah…itu Kasih Stoner dia makan gua punya line lah, Dua Kati dia memang cepat oh… itu Losi starting sangat slow ah, jadi… gua potong dia dan block dia lah, lepas tu Jongket Loulenzor cucuk di belakang gua la…jadi corner satu sana, gua layan dan tutup pintu dia lah….lepas tu ah, itu Dewi-ah-sou tak tau datang dari mana punya, tiba tiba gua nampak dia di tepi gua di corner tiga dan empat, dia mau tolak gua keluar lah, tapi gua makan line cantik,  gua makan saja, so, gua potong dia balik lah…lepas tu…hujan sikit lah… itu Semut Barat (Ant West) dan Weinunu manyak manyak cepat oh…gila punya dia orang, hujan boleh bawah cepat macam mau mati, lu tau la, hujan mah, bahaya oh…gua ikut Kasih saja lah…nak tengok dia  punya style lah…lulus punya jalan, Dua Kati dia  manyak power oh, fuiyo…sekejap aje dah hilang, tapi corner dia koyak lah…sebab motor dia power gila, buka sikit, slide…buka sikit slide…aiya, macam ni mana boleh, sampai belakang taiya dia pun habis lah…gua tengok dia slide manyak, gua cucuk dia lah, cucuk cucuk…dia tak boleh control, lari sampai pasir sana and jatuh bodoh…aiya…lu tau lah, gua racer mah, bukan rempit, gua tak mau menang dia macam ni…ok lah, itu saje…”

Well… I think I slept too much during school time and this is what I get…for those who don’t understand… don’t bother to translate it, haha…

Pinky female bike with intestine

This is what happen when you show a woman (not all) Britten V1000…

” y got a bike with a pink color 1???…for female riders 1 isit?…but the design so ugly!….(it’s a 1 man dream) ya….. man’s dream… that’s y design it to be like a girl!!!…the middle part, looks like intestine!!!…intestine!…”

Top Gear: Britten V1000 Racing Motorcycle

BANG!!

Yape…the all new 09 Yamaha YZF-R1… not a prince charming, but the engine spec is killing me, never thought any jap 1L sport will makes me kuku…

Not many people like the looks, but its fine for me, couse i always like the kind of “racing look” on a “racing bike”, just like those endurance bikes which have drill hole js for 1 or 2 small lights which its light and bright enough to be use, and that’s what i will do “if” i have 1, that’s what i think… Exhaust pipe too big?? i don’t care…

The most attractive part for me is the engine… “crossplane crankshaft that runs with an uneven firing interval of 270º – 180º – 90º – 180º…” @@ you might need an engineer to draw you a chart, with some powerpoint+3D animation presentation to let you know what the hell is going on in that engine; but, in simple way, it is a “big bang” engine… This is nothing to do with Stephen Hawking’s theory of how universe begins and not really related with how GOD created the world, but is the firing system of the engine to mimic V2 engine to gives more traction, and same time it it gives the power of a inline 4, 2 engine in 1… this is only you can see in those MotoGP prototype bikes, and now Yamaha is bringing in the technology into their production bike, how fun is that… This is not the 1st time Yamaha using a big bang engine in their production bike, you can find it in their TDMs, but 1st is sports.

Personally i’m a guy who likes to corner more than top speed, so this is a very good bike that can goes fast in the corner (according to the spec) and sound like MotoGP’s bikes… mom, can i have 1…please…please…

Listen to that sweet sweet sound of a big bang engine… 😀
